2026 Events

  • September 11-12, 2026 - 20th Annual "Trains, Planes, & Automobiles" event in downtown Genesco, IL presented by the Genesco Model Railroader Club. Event will feature train displays on Exchange Street. Show will run on Friday September 11th from 11 am til 3 PM and on Saturday September 12th from 9 am til 2 pm.   • August 20-23, 2026 - Model Railroading Days at The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania (Strasburg, PA). Member James Boylan #2125 will be setting up the world's largest Lionel 0-72 layout with lots of Lionel Standard O and many interesting trains to run. The museum is located at 300 Gap Road, PA Route 741, across from the Strasburg Railroad station in Strasburg, PA 17579. The event will be open on:

    Thursday August 20 and Friday August 21 from 10 AM to 4 PM
    Saturday August 22 from 9:30 AM to 4 PM
    Sunday August 23 from 11:30 AM to 4 PM

    This event will be FREE to all LCCA members, BUT you must contact Jim Boylan prior to August 20th so he can secure your admission to the event. If you want to run trains during the event or just want to bring your own trains to run on Jim's layout, please contact Jim at 215-331-4564 or email Jim at 104577.651@compuserve.com.

  • October 10, 2026 - You are invited to the P&C Railroad Open House! Visit Patrick Cudzilo’s Lionel O Gauge layout and Lionel collection. The open house begins at 12 noon until???  Bring your own engines and rolling stock to run on the layout! This is a stop in and stay as long as you like special events.   • November 14-15, 2026 - OKC Train Show, Bennett Event Center, Oklahoma State Fairgrounds, 3101 Gordon Blvd.


    Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM

    120,000 square feet of operating trains, vendors, exhibitors, manufacturers, clinics, etc.!

  • July 19-24, 2027 - LCCA Annual Convention in Cincinnati, OH

    Plan now for the next LCCA annual convention!

 

The LCCA is pleased to allow local train clubs to share information on their special events held locally around the country.  LCCA members can share information and a flier for these events with our Special Event Manager (Contact) who approves each event for posting.  LCCA Conventions and other club events will also be posted on the calendar.
